The house is a maison de maitre and is situated in the small friendly village of serqueux. Located in the heart of the pays de bray in the normandy countryside. The house is ideally positioned being only 35 mins from dieppe and 2 hrs from calais. Perfect as a pit stop on your way through to the south. Or why not stay for a short break as there is plenty to see and do, day or night. here you have the best of both worlds. The countryside is all around with farms selling local produce and cows, sheep and horses grazing nearby. Yet within 5 mins drive you have the beautiful town of forges-les-eaux. Here there are fantastic restaurants, bars, museums, casino and more. the house is furnished very carefully with mostly antique furniture throughout. There are four guest rooms sleeping up to 11 people in total plus a cot if desired. 2 rooms have en-suite facilities and 2 rooms have a bathroom/wc next door. there is a beautiful dining room where you will take your breakfast and if desired an evening meal can be arranged at a cost of 22 euros per adult for a 5 course meal. drinks can also be served here or if you prefer you can take them and relax in the comfortable lounge.

Just 2 mins walk away there is a bakers shop, hairdressers, post office, tobacconist/ bar, pizzeria and sncf train station. There is within a 10 mins walk the ceremonial war graves and supermarkets. 15 mins walk the other way is a forest which is great for walking, cycling and hunting. On the way down the hill on your left you will pass a farm which sells their own produce of butter and cream.The owners have recently discovered the local cycle route which is the old railway track that has been resurfaced especially for cyclists and walkers in mind. You can cycle right up to dieppe if you want. It is brilliant, as you cycle you get to appreciate the lovely countryside and wildlife that people often take for granted. Just 10 mins drive away is the local farm renowned for its fantastic produce of jams. It is called madame rhubarbs. You have not tasted anything until you try her jams, chutney, syrup, toffee's and sugared candy. Her rhubarb champagne is a must. Within 5 mins drive you have the swimming pool in forges-les-eaux and the casino. Club med is great for keep fit with a gym, tennis facilities and small golf course. They also have an array of special treatments if you want to pamper yourself.
